PARTICIPANTS
How to sign
up
Step
1) Complete your pre-registration packet
(registration materials can be found on the forms page).
Step 2) Send your
registration packet with your registration fee to:

If you are registering as
a team, please include one registration form for each
skater and one check for your team’s registration fee.
Checks should be made payable to TGCFSC.
Early registration ends
January 1, 2010. Mail entries must be postmarked by this
date. The event is limited to the first 600 skaters. To
ensure that you have a spot, please submit your
registration packet early.
You can also register
at Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center on December 12th and 13th at the
Picks & Pucks table between the hours
of 11:00am and 7:00pm or on January 9 between the hours
of 8:00 am and noon. Registration is also available
on-site Saturday, January 16,
2010 between the
hours of 8:00 am and noon, space permitting.
Once your registration is received you
will receive an email confirmation.
Step 3) Set a sponsorship
goal
Step 4) Begin Collecting
donations/sponsorships. Meet and surpass your goal!
Sponsor
forms and funds must be turned in on the day of the
event.
Step
5) Day of Skate-A-Thon. Check in will
begin at 10:30pm on January 16th. At check in your will be
provided with your skate times and rink
assignment.

- Participants may begin
collecting sponsorships/donations as soon as the forms are
issued. Sponsorship forms and funds will be collected the
day of the skate-a-thon, Saturday, January 16,
2010.
- Each sponsor making a
donation should write their own name and donation amount on
the forms. Participants must collect donations in advance
and run them in with the sign-up sheets the day of the
event PRIOR TO GETTING ON THE ICE.
- At check-in, skaters will
be provided with specific times to skate. Skating will be
in laps around the rink with no tricks, jumps, or spins
permitted.
- Skate rental will be
available for participants who do not have their own
skates. Both figure skates and hockey skates will be
permitted on both rinks.
- Music will be played on
both rinks.
- We will be accepting donations of new and gently used
clothes and household appliances to benefit the Fort Bend
County Women's Shelter. Please bring these with you the day
of the event. You may also bring them during any of the
scheduled registrations times.
