Picks & Pucks
Skate For A Cure is an event sponsored by
The Texas Gulf Coast Figure Skating
Club in assocation with Sugar Land Ice & Sports
Center and Pappa La Rosa's Flying Pizza.
On October 22, 2010 skaters from all
disciplines and of all skill levels will join forces to raise
money to support the Houston Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
foundation of Houston. This is a one of a kind event which will
bring together hockey players, figure skaters, and recreational
skaters of all ages and skill levels.
The event will take place at Sugar Land Ice
& Sports Center, 16225 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, TX
77479. Skating will begin at 11:00pm and continue through the
night, winding up at 3:00am. Participants will skate on two
rinks, one designated for adults and one designated for
children. Families are encouraged to join us for this fun and
fit activity. Accomodations will be made to ensure the safety
of all skaters regardless of expertise or age.
